Woodlyn Park Motel, Waitomo Caves

Staying in a train was a fun and unique experience for our family, but it felt quite cramped. The warm and comfy accommodations made for a cozy stay, and the host was exceptionally kind. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent unless we were near the office, which made travel planning a bit of a hassle. Overall, it's a memorable stay with a few setbacks.

We had a great time staying in the airplane cockpit unit at Woodlyn Park. It was a fun and unique experience, especially for our kids, who loved exploring the cockpit. While the accommodation wasn't exactly luxurious due to its age and some small inconveniences, we appreciated the cozy feel and adequate amenities. However, the leaking windows during our rainy visit and the somewhat tricky ladder to the upper sleeping area were a bit challenging. Overall, it's a memorable stay for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary.
